Direct Technical Sales

As a Direct Technical Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind ensuring customer satisfaction within your designated territory. You will be responsible for maintaining contact with established customers while also developing new prospects, providing them with top-notch support and training, and acting as a liaison between the customer and the company.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, working in the office at our Oakville, ON Canada location.

Main responsibilities:

  • Generate, qualify, and follow up on all sales leads.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
  • Coordinate with other personnel to ensure proper customer support.
  • Maintain and update current CRM with all sales activity and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Perform equipment training and installations at the customer’s site as required.
  • Work with service and technical support to quickly resolve technical issues.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum two years relevant experience and BS Degree in Business or Technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred and experience in the wire processing industry is a plus.
  • A strong technical aptitude.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to function effectively in a team environment. 
  • Good communication, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Passport. Frequent travel is required.
