The Schleuniger Group was merged into the Komax Group as of August 31, 2022. Metall Zug received a 25% share of the combined group, becoming the anchor shareholder of Schleuniger's new parent company Komax Holding AG.

We have successfully sold KMF Messtechnik’s quality assurance products under the Schleuniger brand for many years. On August 1, 2021, our esteemed manufacturer officially became part of the Schleuniger Group.

After more than 11 successful years, our CEO, Christoph Schüpbach, has decided to leave the Schleuniger family to embark on a new professional challenge. Succeeding Christoph Schüpbach as CEO is Michael Weis, former General Manager of the German KUKA AG, with many years of experience in the automotive industry.

The Schleuniger Group acquires the business of US-based Cirris Systems Corp, securing complementary testing expertise and improved market access in the important North American market.

Global electronics industry association IPC has partnered with the Switzerland-based technology group Schleuniger to offer IPC members online wire processing training from Schleuniger’s S.University. Making these renowned training courses available through the IPC EDGE online portal will allow companies the flexibility to train their employees in a cost-effective, simple, and efficient way.

Acquisition of majority stake in adaptronic Prüftechnik GmbH. Schleuniger Group acquired 60% of adaptronic Prüftechnik GmbH, based in Wertheim (Germany). adaptronic provides wiring test systems and function test systems and employs more than 140 people.
2017
Schleuniger acquires DiIT AG. Schleuniger already held a minority interest in DiIT AG, a global producer of software systems for wire processing and wiring harness production, prior to taking full ownership. As of January 1, 2017 the previous majority stakeholder and company founder, Dr. Gerhard Schaub, sells all of his shares to Schleuniger and leaves the company at his own request.

Schleuniger acquires a 20 percent share of Laser Wire Solutions Ltd., Pontypridd, UK. Both companies agree upon worldwide cooperation. Laser Wire Solutions is a fast-growing and highly innovative company that offers laser-based solutions for wire processing, in particular for the wire and jacket stripping processes.

Schleuniger acquires Cirris Solutions GmbH, Jettingen, Germany. Cirris Solutions a global provider in the field of applied testing technology and testing automation. In September 2016 the company's name was changed to Schleuniger Test Automation GmbH.
Schleuniger and Cirris Systems Corp., Salt Lake City, USA extend their regional partnership to a global cooperation. Cirris Systems is a supplier of testing systems for cables and wire harnesses.

Schleuniger and Emdep, Alió (Tarragona), Spain agree on strategic cooperation. Emdep is a supplier of control equipment and test boards for automobile wiring.

Schleuniger and Telsonic Group, Bronschhofen, Switzerland agree on strategic cooperation. Telsonic is a supplier of ultrasonic technology.
